Inverter & Supply Wiring
Your solar or battery system needs clean, safe, correctly-rated cabling from the generation system to your consumer unit. We’ll install the cabling, isolators, and protective devices to match your system’s design, and make sure it’s fully compliant with wiring regs and DNO (Distribution Network Operator) requirements.
We’ll also ensure that any new wiring is protected with the right RCDs and surge devices.
Battery Storage Systems
We install the electrical side of battery storage units that help households store excess solar energy. Whether it’s a hybrid setup or a standalone battery, we’ll take care of the isolators, fuses, supply tails, and switchgear — and integrate it safely into your existing setup.
Need to add a battery to an older solar setup? We can adapt older installs to suit new tech.
Consumer Unit Upgrades for Renewables
Older consumer units often aren’t ready to support solar, battery or EV systems. We upgrade them to new units that include SPD protection, dual RCDs, and enough headroom for future expansion. Everything is tested and fully certified after install — with proper labelling and layout.
We also fit separate RCBO-controlled units where a dedicated circuit is needed.
Working Alongside Installers
If you’ve already chosen a solar company and they don’t have in-house electricians, we can work alongside them to complete the job safely and properly. We’re used to collaborating with other trades and making sure the electrical side doesn’t become a hold-up or an afterthought.
We don’t just “get it working” — we make sure it’s right.
Certification & Compliance
We’re a NICEIC Approved Contractor (Reg No. 619974000) — which means our work is independently assessed and held to proper national standards.
You’ll receive all necessary documentation to show your system has been installed to spec. This includes:
- Electrical Installation Certificates
- MCS-ready supporting documentation for your solar installer (where needed)
- DNO-ready setup with correct isolation and bonding
- NICEIC certification for insurance, building control or resale purposes
